Who we are
Arc is run by Elia Kuratli, a sole proprietorship in Switzerland (“Arc”, “we”, “us”). Arc is the seller of Arc Pro and your contract partner. Contact details are on the imprint.
What these terms cover
These terms apply when you use the website at uiarc.dev, the component registry, the MCP server, the AI-readable docs, an Arc account, or when you buy Arc Pro. By creating an account or completing a purchase you accept them. If you buy for a company, you confirm that you may bind it, and “you” means the company.
The license, the refund policy and the privacy policy are part of these terms.
The free library
Free components, free blocks, the registry, the MCP server and the docs are free to use without an account. Free source code is licensed under the MIT license, which is included with the code and on the license page. Nothing in these terms limits what the MIT license allows.
Accounts
- You need an account to use Arc Pro. You can pay first and create it right after; the purchase attaches to the account you create or sign in with. Give a real email address and keep your sign-in details safe.
- An account belongs to one person. Don’t share it or let others sign in with it.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to create an account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile or by writing to hello@uiarc.dev.
Arc Pro plans
Arc Pro unlocks the Pro components, blocks and templates, their source, installation through the CLI and the MCP server, and the Pro docs. There are two plans:
- Pro yearly: access to everything in Pro, including new Pro releases, for as long as the plan is active.
- Pro lifetime: one payment for access to everything in Pro, including future Pro releases, for as long as Arc Pro is offered.
The current contents of Pro are listed on the pricing page. We add and improve pieces over time. We may retire a piece that no longer works well, but we won’t take away source you have already downloaded.
“Lifetime” means the lifetime of Arc Pro, not of the buyer. If we ever stop offering Arc Pro, we will give at least 90 days’ notice, and lifetime buyers keep the right to use every piece they have downloaded under the license.
Prices, payment and taxes
- Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page and at checkout. The price on the Stripe checkout page before you pay is the price you pay.
- Lifetime can be sold at introductory prices for a limited number of buyers. When a step sells out, the next step applies. A discount applies only to the purchase it was shown for.
- Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. and its affiliates (“Stripe”). Arc is the seller; Stripe is the payment processor and does not sell you anything. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- Where we must charge sales tax or VAT, it is calculated at checkout from your billing address and shown before you pay. Business buyers can add a tax ID where supported.
- Receipts and invoices are emailed after payment and are available in the billing portal on your account page.
- Your contract is concluded when the payment succeeds. Access to Pro starts right after.
Renewal and cancellation
- Pro yearly renews automatically every year at the price then in effect, charged to the payment method on file. We will email you before a renewal if the price changes.
- Cancel any time in the billing portal on your account page. Access continues until the end of the year you paid for, and no further payment is taken.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a short period. Access continues during the retries and ends if the payment does not go through.
- Pro lifetime does not renew.
Refunds and withdrawal
Arc Pro is digital content you get immediately, so purchases, including yearly renewals, are final and not refundable. If something you bought doesn’t work as described and we can’t fix it within 14 days of your report, or if you were charged by mistake, we refund that payment in full. After a refund, Pro access and the Pro license for that purchase end. Details are in the refund policy.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract for digital content. At checkout you ask for immediate access and confirm that you understand the purchase is final, so the right of withdrawal ends when access starts. Your other rights under consumer law, including for faulty digital content, are not affected.
Access tokens and fair use
- Pro personal access tokens let your CLI and AI tools fetch Pro source. They are tied to your account. Keep them secret, don’t commit them to public repositories, and revoke any token that leaks.
- Don’t use Arc to scrape, mirror or bulk download the Pro library for anyone other than yourself, and don’t try to get around access checks or rate limits.
- Don’t use the site or APIs in a way that harms them or other users, such as attacks, spam or automated load beyond normal use.
Ownership and license
Arc keeps all rights in Arc, its source code, designs, docs and brand. Buying Pro gives you a license to use Pro source as described in the license; it does not transfer ownership. Components you build from Arc into your own product are yours, apart from the Arc code they contain.
Sample content in previews, such as names, photos and brand marks, is there to show the components working. It is not licensed for your product and does not imply any endorsement.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Arc available and fast, but we don’t promise uninterrupted access. We may change, improve or remove features of the site, the registry or the MCP server. If a change removes something essential that you paid for, you can ask for a refund of the unused part of a yearly plan.
Warranty
We want every piece to work well and we fix bugs we can reproduce. Free source is provided “as is” under the MIT license. For Pro, we promise that the source matches what the docs describe at the time you get it. To the extent the law allows, we give no further warranty, including fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for testing Arc code in your own product, including its accessibility, security and legal compliance.
Liability
We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid Arc in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage such as lost profit or lost data. Mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you remain unaffected.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the license, for example by redistributing Pro source or sharing tokens. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close an account without cause, we will refund the unused part of a yearly plan, or the lifetime price if it was paid within the last twelve months.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when Arc changes or the law does. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will email account holders about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then; changes never apply to purchases already made in a way that disadvantages you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts at the seller’s place of business in Switzerland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims in its courts.
The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform has been discontinued. We are not obliged or willing to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board, but please write to us first; most things are solved by email.
