Two licenses

Every component and block on uiarc.dev is marked Free or Pro. Free source is published under the MIT license, on the site, through the @uiarc registry and in the public GitHub repository. Pro source is available to Arc Pro customers under the Arc Pro license below. In this license, “Pro source” means the source code, styles, docs and assets of every piece marked Pro, however you receive them: copied from the site, installed through the @uiarc-pro registry, or fetched by an AI tool through the MCP server.

Pro license

When you buy Arc Pro, Elia Kuratli (“Arc”) grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, copy and modify Pro source to build your own projects and end products, on the terms on this page. The license starts when your payment succeeds and is personal to the buyer. It is part of the terms of service.

An end product is a website, app, service or other work that you or your client build with Pro source and that offers value beyond the source itself, such as a SaaS app, a marketing site, an internal tool or a mobile app.

What you can do

• Use Pro source in unlimited projects, personal or commercial.
• Build end products for clients and hand them over, including the Pro source inside them. Your client may keep using and maintaining that end product, but may not reuse the Pro source for new projects without their own license.
• Sell end products, including paid SaaS apps and products with many users.
• Change the code as much as you like and combine it with other code.
• Keep Pro source in private repositories, and in public repositories as part of an end product (see open-source projects).

What you can’t do

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense or share Pro source on its own, modified or not, as source files, a package, a registry, a snippet collection or a download.
• Use Pro source to build a product whose main value is the components themselves, such as a UI kit, component library, design system, template, theme or page builder that you sell or give away.
• Offer Pro source through a tool that lets others generate or copy it, such as a public MCP server, code generator or registry.
• Share your account or Pro tokens, or let people outside your seat allowance use your license.
• Remove notices that say a file comes from Arc Pro.

Seats and teams

One Arc Pro purchase is one seat: one person who can download, install and work with Pro source. Anyone else on your team who works directly with Pro source needs their own seat. People who only use or review the end product, or who work on parts of the code that don’t touch Pro source, don’t need a seat.

Open-source projects

You may use Pro source in an open-source end product, such as an app you publish on GitHub, as long as the Pro source is only a part of it and your project is not a UI kit, library or template. Keep the Arc Pro notice in those files and note that they are not covered by your project’s open-source license. If you are unsure, ask us.

AI tools

You may give Pro source to your own AI coding tools, through the MCP server, the registry or by pasting it, to build your projects. You may not use Pro source to train or fine-tune a model that is offered to others, or put it into a shared prompt library, dataset or agent that others can use to reproduce it.

How long it lasts

• Lifetime: the license does not expire, and it covers every Pro piece you get while Arc Pro is offered.
• Yearly: while the plan is active you can get all Pro source. When the plan ends, the license continues for Pro source you already added to your projects, forever; you just stop getting new source and releases.
• Refunds: after a refund the license for that purchase ends, and you should stop using Pro source you haven’t already shipped. See the refund policy.
• Breach: if you seriously break this license, it ends, and you must stop using and delete Pro source. End products you already shipped to clients in good faith are not affected.
